We all know how St Peter betrayed Jesus….Peter was a flawed man for sure….But why would Jesus choose him?…Peter was humble!….He screwed up BIG TIME but he faced Jesus and reconciled with him….This is why Jesus choose him!……And this is why he can and will embrace YOU!…..There are no proud people in heaven…And there are no humble people in hell…Always remember that
The passage from St John noted above was taken from the Gospel today from Mass….…The message given to Peter is also the message for all of us…We must lose ourself in order to find ourself…..This is how we encounter the living God
