“Not as men of science , not as critics , not as philosophers , but as little children , shall we enter into the kingdom of heaven………….We cannot have what heaven has unless we think like heaven thinks……..In order to be lights, we must first be enlightened ourselves…..This begins with a simple “Yes”……As the old saying goes, “The Kingdom of God is in you”……..Make no mistake about it and if the Kingdom of God is in you, you should leave a little bit of heaven wherever you go………You tell a tree by the fruit it bears”

Gospel Text: (Lk 13:18-21)

Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like?
To what can I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden.
When it was fully grown, it became a large bush
and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”

Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God?
It is like yeast that a woman took
and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour
until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”

Reflect, today, upon your duty to daily plant the smallest seeds of faith and love. Do not get discouraged if your efforts do not bear abundantly obvious fruit. Simply commit yourself to the planting, over and over. Take delight in sowing the seed of faith and see this as your mission. If you do this throughout your life, from Heaven you will look back and be amazed at how God powerfully brought forth His Kingdom through those seemingly insignificant acts of faith and love.
