God doesn't need a lot to do a lot. All David had was five stones. And all David used was one.

Beautiful is the moment in which we understand that we are no more than an instrument of God; we live only as long as God wants us to live; we can only do as much as God makes us able to do; we are only as intelligent as God would have us be. – St Oscar Romero: (1917 – 1980: was a prelate of the Catholic Church in El Salvador who served as the fourth Archbishop of San Salvador)

Gospel Text: (LK 10:13-16)
Jesus said to them,
"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!
For if the mighty deeds done in your midst
had been done in Tyre and Sidon,
they would long ago have repented,
sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon
at the judgment than for you.
And as for you, Capernaum, 'Will you be exalted to heaven?
You will go down to the netherworld.'
Whoever listens to you listens to me.
Whoever rejects you rejects me.
And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me."

Reflect upon the great gift it is to act as an instrument of the Father in Heaven.  This is a sacred duty and a profound privilege we must not take lightly.  Look also for ways that the Father speaks to you through others.  When He speaks, give Him your full attention and be grateful for those who act as these instruments of God’s love.
